Blood boiling!
 

Last week we received a boxed of postage supplies from this company that kept calling and harassing us..

They kept asking for a "Sarah" that we don't have in the office, and our current receptionist told them there's no Sarah here..

We called them back saying we didn't order anything from this box (we've never ordered anything from them before) and they kept drumming up stories about spoken to someone last week to confirm address etc.

I kept saying we didn't order it and he kept saying a Sarah ordered it. Gosh I don't know how many times me and the receptionist said that to them.

I told them to come pick it back up, and first they said we can't return it, they paid for the good in advance, then said we don't have to pay for it, then told us to send it back to them..

No freakin' way are we going to pay for any postage to send this crap back at them!

I got very impatient by this point and screamed down the phone "COME PICK IT UP, WE'RE NOT SENDING IT BACK!" They courier that parcel to us, courier service will do pick up as well. "I can only do deliveries" BUUUUUUUUUUULLLLLLLLL CRAP!

It was still talking about getting us to send it back when I hung up on him.



I wonder what we can do against these companies that sends out stuff and claim that we ordered it, and make it such a hassle for us.

Did they send an invoice with it?

It said "invoice to follow".

He's coming up with lies after lies, he called back and said "Oh it wasn't Sarah, it was Sira that ordered it. I definitely spoke to a Sira."

Whoever they've been talking to, the person doesn't exist.

I think the only thing to do is to call the police about it before you get an invoice. Lodge a case and if you talk to them again, you can tell them you reported them to the police. That should make them leave you alone.

That's something the police will look after?

OK I'll run it by the boss and see what she says...

I'd contact the guys boss or supervisor and complain about how he was handling it.

That guy himself is meant to be the manager...

Yeah I don't know who else can do something about it legally. Otherwise the police should be able to tell you who to contact if they can't do anything about it.

I mean the only other people I can think of are lawyers but that's $$$ and unnecessary atm anyway.

Yeah it's not like we've paid them any money.. so the one who's lost out at the moment is the stupid company themselves...

I'll just leave it unless they contact us again...
