Zuckerberg didn't tip

http://www.smh.com.au/technology/tec...#ixzz1wJs58EZ1

Has made it on our newspaper..

Slow news day..

But I thought I'd share it in the spam here anyway LOL

How I see it is that the arrogant shop owner thought "sweet a millionaire coming to my restaurant, free money!" And didn't get it...

The way people EXPECT to be tip irks me..

It varies in America. Some places you're required/expected, some you're not.

But then is it a custom in Italy? I think it's also weird to expect a foreigner to do what they do in their home country in your country.... People who visit other countries are meant to do what people there do. Isn't it.

Everyone should be like the Japanese.. no tip. Have to give every cent of the change back to you!

On a different topic:

Quote:

[Caption to picture: She went viral on the web for racists rant. Now she's in jail.]
A drunk passenger who hurled racist abuse at fellow travellers on a London underground train in a tirade that became an internet sensation has been jailed for 21 weeks.

Jacqueline Woodhouse, 42, launched an expletive-laden rant at passengers on the Central line, telling those seated near her: "I used to live in England and now I live in the United Nations."

A seven-minute video of the verbal assault was uploaded to YouTube and viewed more than 200,000 times.
A youtube video with only 200,000 views is hardly viral =.=

These journalist really need to keep up with the interwebz if they want to make reference to it...

I think I saw that one

I don't mind tipping but I don't I don't like being told how much to tip -.- price doesn't mean quality service, so I don't want to give a certain percent of my bill.

Loveless 05-30-2012 10:19 PM

I only tip however much I feel they deserve. And in Richmond where I live... most of the people do not deserve any tip.
