For Christmas, he asked for his Dad to come home....

I've never really felt too close about soldiers being deported for missions.. but this picture totally captured all the emotions... it's amazing~

There's a video to it..

omggg I got teary eyed watching the video

It's so sad because I remember the santa I worked with one year also said they had a kid who asked for their dad to come back. however he found out from the mother that the dad had actually passed away so :(

aww.. things can get so much more emotional with kids involved.. the emotions are raw...

this one is even more touching than the one above..

omggggg I also started watching related videos!!!! I feel sooo asjkdhakjf now

I think it's extra emotional because kids are so honest with their feelings.

I watched one of those the other day. Haha, they were expecting the kid to get all excited, but he all 'meh' about it. No excitement, no crying, just "Hey dad!" lol.

To a lot of people its no big deal, but to a kid, their thoughts on the situation are simpler. They see their parent as a soldier, and they're going off to war, and being at risk of dying, which of course they will most likely come back, but still, the stereotype is usually what kids think. They worry and just want to have their parent back.

WERE YOU REFERENCING THE FINEBROS?! I love teens and kids react. Though I'm actually surprised at how under-dramatic that girls reaction was when her mom walked into her classroom.
