Blargh Math in Baking
 

I'm making a strawberry shortcake today for Christmas and I'm reading the recipe. What kind of person measures in ounces and shit tons of tea/table spoons??? Cupssssss. I don't care if it even says "A smidge over 3/4 of a cup" its much more visual as I don't know a person who DOESN'T use cups when baking.

Examples:
4.2 ounces (or 9.5 tablespoons) of sugar
4.2 ounces (or 14 teaspoons) of cake flour
1.2 ounces (or 22 grams or 2.3 tablespoons) of melted butter (not as bad but sheesh)
