Some questions about clerics

according to forum description,

Quote:

The multi-task class. Capable of healing allies, deal ranged magic damage and melee damage. There are many types of Priests options avaliable.
since when did clerics have ranged magic? and if they did have some level 100+ skill, did i add stats wrongly by adding str?

another question is that is spr or str better to increase damage, if im not really concerned about SP or magic defence? since spr adds 0.2% crit until 25 and .01% after that, i think that means a mere 0.1% increase in damage initially and 0.05% after that, but how much does str increase damage by? thx

Nothing I've heard of gives clerics ranged magic. Even if it was, that would be a very odd build just for that 60+ skill. Str is fine.

As for Spr vs Str, that's a big debate: more crit or more general damage. I have a SPR cleric now that I love and runnin a STR cleric now to test the difference. For now, best I can say is that both work out.

For the record, you're right about crit, which is why 'SPR clerics' stop adding to SPR after 25 (usually put into End after that). As for STR, it gives 1.2 damage per point, rounded down (so 4.8 = 4 damage). STR doesn't change after a certain point like SPR does: it's always 1.2

So 25 SPR means 5% crit while 25 STR means 30 damage.

well according to http://fiesta.gamengame.com/guide/li...sp?classType=2 none of the level 60+ skills are ranged magic attacks, but im not sure if there will be more skills at higher levels...

Such a concept would remind me of a few others games: a class starting off set up for one kind of build, but later, MUCH MUCH later, gets a skill that's powerful but requires a completely different kind of build to master. What you end up with are the majority of people taking the' traditional path' and sticking to the build that works for most of their skills, and a few willing to be extremely weak most of the game to become suited for that one power skill.

Thus, if clerics end up the same way so some super INT-required skill later on, having a non-INT cleric would still be a viable option, unless you are THAT set on wanting a ranged magic user with heal.

They probably got the definition of the cleric from korean fiesta way back in CB1. Outspark has taken many moves for many classes away! =(

Bleed and Trip supposedly have a stun in other versions, but do not in the Outspark version.

^ oh I knew about that one... I thought it meant completely new spells that Outspark ripped...

as someone said before.. if clerics have a range attack, then there's no need for fighters LOL

Of course we are the only one without an AOE...if you don't count party buffs..
