PlayTV signals
Not sure if you guys would know much about this kinda technology, but Google's not helping much coz I don't know what I should be Googling, so maybe you guys can help.
We just got a PS3 in our new place, and also bought the PlayTV. We've had this strange problem where the PlayTV doesn't pick up any pictures at night time. There'll be the Programme information, but the live TV doesn't play. But it works fine in the morning / afternoon. We left the TV on from afternoon to night, and have noticed that it begins to lag at about 4-5pm, then it drops out at about 6.30pm. Would anyone be able to shred some light on this one? |
Never heard of PlayTV o: I wonder if its anything like Netflix.

It's the set top box for playstation.. get it get it? PlayTV.. PlayStation... LOLOL

<---- blonde and recent console illiterate :P

That's OK it may have a fancy name.. but at the most important times of the day.. it's just a black plastic box that doesn't do anything!!
And my laptop wouldn't link up to our Wifi, even when there's strong signal... So we can't stream videos from the laptop to the TV. Why can't these technology just WORK! |
Sounds like you're on the cusp of the broadcast range. Are you using an exterior antenna or just a set-top one?
|
Exterior antenna.. so the PlayTV is connected to an outlet in the wall.
So it's probably our reception? I don't understand why it would be different between day time and night time... |
