It annoys me..
When people say unconstructional stuff..
The receptionist just said "Hessah if you're not busy, I want to go take the mail down." Well I have to take over the phone whether or not I'm busy anyway right? So why say it like I haven't got anything to do? And that goes for everything politician says as well. |
Unconstructional. Hmm. I like that. Let's try to spread it around and make it an actual word.
|
Your Workplace calls you Hessah ?
|
LOL I know it underlined me.. but you know what I mean xD
|
My co-worker does that too even when she sees I'm talking to a customer and/or running around the store.
|
I think a quick word change would make it a bit more acceptable. Instead of "If you're not busy" make it "When you're not busy"
|
There'll never be a time when I'm not busy even if it appears that I'm on FF all the time. xD
I was happy for her to just say "Can I take the mail down now?" If I can't take over the phone I would tell her then, it has nothing to do with whether I'm busy or not. If that makes sense? keke Either way, it's probably just a passing comment for her, but it gave me the wrong impression. |
Seems to be the case with quite a few people. They don't really think before talking... they just blurt it out.
You know they didn't actually mean it in a bad way, at least... some people don't, but it still gives you that... feeling. Of throwing something at them. |
