Why do people have to keep making changes to their invoices!!

Sometimes they send their invoice late, and I got nagged for sending out the breakdown of invoices late!

Then it sends an invoice early, so I instantly forward all the breakdown invoices out and 3 days later I get another invoice saying that they've changed their accounting methods and the figures have now changed again!

You can't just invoice us for whatever you want people! Have a standard and stick to it!

Can't you tell them that they can't change the amount on the invoice and that they can only credit the invoice?

Unless they are invoicing you more than the amount they invoiced? Or if it's invoicing from ppl within your company/office...

I can't because.. I don't have the authority to argue with these people...

Nor do I want the authority...
