Why is this computer's internet so slow?
 

I'm using my parents' laptop at the moment and IT TAKES SO LONG TO LOAD WEB PAGES.

I just don't understand. It's not the internet connection because I load these pages fine on any other device in our house. I have a feeling it's because my dad has downloaded all these video accelerators from Chinese websites that are slowing down the computer.

I looked through the Task Manager and I closed a couple of things that were running in the background but that didn't really seem to help. Is there anyway to test for this kind of thing?

Could be Hardware failure.

er... what type of hardware?
