I'm so confused...

I just went to buy some stamps to mail my invitations oversea..

Normally it cost $2.35 to send a letter oversea, but the post office guy sold me $1.60 stamps, which are for greeting cards / postcards.

I can't find anywhere what the definitely of greeting cards are. I'm worried that my stamps won't get my letter to our guest...

Dammit. Found out that "cards" are things under 20 grams. My invitation is more than just a card, it's got envelope and RSVP and it weights more than 20 grams.

Now I have to go back and buy more stand and waste the $16 worth of stamps that I bought coz I don't send anything else oversea.

Grrr.

Can you combine your 1.60 stamps with like... lots of 5 cent stamps?

I have to ask the post office.. so far I've only seen stamps in $0.60 and $1.20, which means I'll either be underpaying 20c or over paying with the $1.20.

Wish I just got the $1.20 stamps then with two of those it would be perfect.
