Australia Post
I'm so confused...
I just went to buy some stamps to mail my invitations oversea.. Normally it cost $2.35 to send a letter oversea, but the post office guy sold me $1.60 stamps, which are for greeting cards / postcards. I can't find anywhere what the definitely of greeting cards are. I'm worried that my stamps won't get my letter to our guest... |
Dammit. Found out that "cards" are things under 20 grams. My invitation is more than just a card, it's got envelope and RSVP and it weights more than 20 grams.
Now I have to go back and buy more stand and waste the $16 worth of stamps that I bought coz I don't send anything else oversea. Grrr. |
Can you combine your 1.60 stamps with like... lots of 5 cent stamps?
|
I have to ask the post office.. so far I've only seen stamps in $0.60 and $1.20, which means I'll either be underpaying 20c or over paying with the $1.20.
Wish I just got the $1.20 stamps then with two of those it would be perfect. -sigh- All the stupid post office guy's fault! They should know better!!! |
