Who the F*** does a fire drill 5 days before June 30!!

If it wasn't for that we just saw the building manager training the fire designator staff downstairs a few mins ago, we wouldn't know that was a drill and would waste a good 30 mins going down and up the building for nothing...

And they didn't tell us beforehand that it's a drill either!

We just ignored the siren.. I swear one day it's gonna be real and we won't be running for our lives xD

I hate end of financial year =( I swear I missed out on a couple of weeks of June. It wasn't too long ago that I thought "there's still a month left".

I know, I hate it too.. everything's gotta be done by next Thursday all of a sudden! On top of stuff we already know that's due by June 30.

Good thing is I think I'm relatively prepared, but I still go into paranoid mode thinking "did I miss anything? have I forgotten anything? are all the numbers correct?" etc etc

Required number of drills before the end of the season?

We have a required number of drills before the end of the school year. They save all of them but 2-3 until the final 2 weeks of school. Always a nice little break.

Oh possible.. never thought of that.. I ranted it on FB too, and someone commented on my status that they had two drills in the last two weeks!

Looks like they're falling behind in their drills.. xD

Yeah. Most places don't take the things seriously. The only logical place a fire could happen in my school would be the lunchroom kitchens. Otherwise someone would have to set something on fire.. and thats hard to do since we have cameras everywhere and with hall monitors around.. you can't go into a bathroom and do anything since all bathrooms for students are off of rotundas... where the monitors are. SCREW DRILLS. WE TOO COOL TO DIE.

I remember having a fire drill at my campus when it was still in an office building. Oh how fun it was to go down... 7-8 floors via stairs and into the snow.

AF always has these siggys that have me staring at them without me realising that I've been staring at them....

I think we only ever had 1 real fire alarm here... and that was the lifts burning something...

Uh yeah... must.... stop... staring...
