I don't know if it's just me but are people nowadays not even trying?

I have access to the e-mail where my employer gets his clients to send their files to print. That same e-mail is used to receive resumes. I sneaked a peak at one of them and the person who replied to the ad had a single line asking to be hired. No spell check... even spelled "thanks" wrong. Of course no resume either.

There's also this one client that sends his/her request in ALL CAPS. I just don't get it... why can't these people type a normal response. Some are just regular folks but most are supposed to be working professionals not some teenagers texting their friend. :zomg:

We were looking for receptionist at one stage, and we got this cover letter that started off really well, like 2 paragraphs of what they're like, their experience, how they are interested in the job..

then it was followed on with "According to act xxx, it is against the law the discriminate against a race, cultural, gender or disabilities.... blah blah blah..."

And we were like O____O What has this person got for us to discriminate against? It was really weird... but he was overqualified for the job anyway, so we didn't get to meet them..
