This a no, no!
KSA Women gathered to drive @ June 17.
This will be horrible, as women aren't allowed to drive. The traffic will be tripled, accidents will be doubled. There aren't any driving schools for women. I know this is their rights, and there's no law preventing this. but I gotta say some dangers will occur. |
I've always been told if I can't say anything nice I shouldn't say anything at all. That being said,

I gotta say Sparky, when I almost end up in fatal car-crashes in Bahrain the first thing I check isn't whether the driver is a guy or a girl.
It's whether or not they're Saudi. |
Ohhh snap.

I don't fully understand the situation in your country Sparky so take this with a grain of salt...
So, are women in your country treated as lesser or inequal to men ? I thought fair rights between sexes were sorted out a long time ago pretty much all across the world ? But yeah; Im a noob at politics and foreign countries, especially their customs and cultures. |
To say that fair rights between sexes was sorted across the world is a fairly big statement!
No I don't think that's happened yet.. |

Looking at Sparky's post, I'd say that hasn't happened in every pocket of the world yet...
I think those places ruled by religion rather than a government will most probably not have equal rights between men and women.. I don't know too much either xD |

Looks like this agreement thing has only come about in the last 40 years or so... and you can see where it doesn't apply... |
