Fiesta Fan Forums - What a morning...

Well this morning was a bit interesting for myself. First off I'm rehabbing my left hand. I really don't want to repeat that story but pics of whats up can be seen here: http://viewmorepics.myspace.com/inde...albumId=890757 . But yeah, I play our fun game one handed. Which is a feat to some, others not so much and a few see it as not a hindrance at all. Yet, personally, having my second hand would make this game a breeze and I'm glad that it's not.

Anyways after a quick and successful 6am Gold Hill KQ, I decided to knock out some quests. Seeing I needed some Marlone Clan fighters and Marlone himself, I decided to stroll out to BH and have myself a look around. After killing off the clan fighters and various adds while all the while not able to find a party for Marlone. I decided to see if Marlone was even up.

Low and behold to my surprise, Marlone was up and by himself! O.O! Without a seconds hesitation I ran up to him and cracked out a 125+ crit on his face as a hello and his early good bye. XD

The fight was going smoothly, I had gotten Marlone down to 75% before a Marlone chief saw the commotion and decided to turn the fight into a 2v1. (= I quickly turned my attention to the mere pawn who shortly dropped after a few crits to the face. The fight between Marlone and myself continued for a good while uninterrupted.

It wouldn't be till Marlone was down to 25% life that I would run into a big whooping pile of trouble. Out of the blue an archer came flying in on their Hobby with a nice and lovely train of various Marlone mobs. Seeing eminent doom, I booked it with Marlone and gang hot on my tail. Now, switching from fighting/healing to running from doom on the fly with one hand isn't easy. I can't use the "WASD" movement keys due to my left hand. I basically point and click to get around. And if I want to move quick, I don't have time to change up camera angles on the fly. So, I essentially look like a chicken with it's head cut off when I run staring at the ground and navigating via the mini map.

Anyways, after seeing that I only attracted two Marlone soldiers and three clan chiefs with Marlone down to less than 25%. I decided to stick it out and complete my quest. Basically I sat on auto-attack while chipping away Marlone's hp. I was able to self heal and hp stone myself through the assault. Though I didn't get any big drops, I did have fun for the 15 odd minutes spent on Marlone and friends. (=

To cap off my success, I decided to port back to Elderine. But before I could do so, I blew out my vid-card. >.< lol XD You win some and you lose some.

Oh, I notice this maybe in the wrong section but I still wanted to share. (= I'll add pics when I can after work. Also, I'm interested in others who have similar stories like so.
