Haha, yeah. On Tumblr I saw a post talking about what each person saw in the mirror of erised. The post was talking about how when George would look into the mirror, he'd just see himself looking back. Nothing special. But little did he know, it was Fred looking back at him.

I don't hate it but the most recent movie I saw was the one with the dementors, which was a long time ago.

I think Harry Potter is a childhood staple for anyone who was born in the 90s, or even later 80s. And even if you don't love it.

I didn't really enjoy the movies either. The books were nice, but I didn't see what made them such a global hit.

I'm sort of early 80s so I missed the Harry Potter phase too xD

I just remember the 3rd movie being really dark (as in.. colour dark..) I couldn't see anything so I gave up..

But I didn't read all the books and the movie chopped a lot of stuff out so it feels like I'm missing the story line...

Think it's also cos we "grew up" with Harry Potter. The genre/themes of the books changed "appriopriately" as we got older with him...
