Penny auctions. You have to pay a fixed sum every time you bid on something.

Ah I noticed that you had to pay 79$ for registration, but they charge you additionally for each item you bid on?

Yeah they're really popular right now, and they work too.... I think, as long as you don't mind sitting on your computer, adding one cent until you're the one who keeps bidding, which takes many many hours. Some hardcore, lifeless, and persistent penny bidders out there.

Eesh. I couldn't imagine paying $.50 a bid, especially if something becomes popular. You'd end up spending more on bidding than if you'd have just bought the product. Then again, I imagine that's their entire business model.
