My PDF in firefox..
 

Something has happened to my work computer while I was away on holiday.. all my PDF file icons has changed to that ugly icon as if you tried to open a jpeg with adobe (if that made sense..)

And now firefox wont open my pdfs properly.. (always gives an error, then sometimes it opens the PDF, sometimes it crashes firefox)

anyone know where I start to fix this problem?

Uninstall/reboot/reinstall Adobe reader. Sounds like some file got corruped.

I recommend the sledge hammer method, followed by throwing the damn thing off of the top floor of the highest building you can find.

That's convenient, she's on the top floor at work xD LOLOL

That might solve the Vista problem too, might get an upgrade to Win 7.

You must have a good employer, mine would be an upgrade to Windows XP at the moment....

Another firefox problem..

I came back to work this morning to find that my computer is still "Shutting down" from last night....

So I forced it off.. and turned it back on, and most (but not all) my bookmarks and histories have disappeared!

In fact.. I can't add any bookmarks O_O

Probably a virus? Dx

Use your anti-virus, CCleaner. D:

Maybe you just need to get rid of Firefox. Then get Firefox 4? o: Or you know switch over to Chrome...

Also get a bookmark extension that's saved not on your computer so you can always get it back.

sounds like a virus or bad hard drive.

or it could just be firefox screwing something up, let's hope it's just firefox
