Past employers who, if called/contacted, will say some good things about you. You should always check with the person first before putting them down. Just so they know they might get a call o:
|
Or family members, school teachers etc, if you don't have previous employers. Anyone that can vouch for your good characteristics/quality's
|
Go for school teachers or others before family though. A lot of the time they don't want to call family members. For obvious reasons.. family basically has to say you are amazing. lmao
|
What I was getting @ was say you've worked for family. My mother is in charge of hiring for all stores in the lower mainland, and said family is a big one. Not all family get's along.
|
They aren't going to know background info.

What kind of job? Ice cream?
Ooo, with loveless in the frozen yogurt. |
I dont think they ever check references. When I signed up for my job, the references part only had the name, phone number, and relationship. I put my godfather and teacher and put a line through the phone number because I didn't know it. I still got the job anyways. Make sure to call in a week after you applied and ask about the job, I think that's how I got the job.

After the interview you should call within 24 to 48 hours while you are still fresh in their minds. This call alone will put you in a favorable position as most other young job seekers never do it.
I don't work at a frozen yogurt place and never have. You should just stop talking altogether. |
