The state of Queensland in Australia has experienced what was described as the worst flood in 118 years.

Thankfully it doesnt look like there wont be nearly as many fatalities as Black Saturday but this is still horrible. I'm really surprised at the amount of worldwide attention this has gotten

I think the flood has already peaked yesterday in Brisbane and Ipswich.. now they're just waiting for the water to drain out..

the next thing would be to see all the dmg that it's caused.. I guess pretty much anything from the roof down would need to be renovated.. that's if the roof of the places survived...

Basements will be the main problem. The entire floor/wall panelling will have to be disinfected and replaced.

Yeah not just the basements.. if u're in the dip of a valley the entire house needs floors and walls replaced.. like this one..

Though, most houses in Australia don't have a basement.. we just build from the ground up...

Unless you've got one of those houses where you digged into the ground for garage space.. those houses floods with any rain.. xD
