Breakage.
 

I just saw Kakko's thread, sorry if this is similar but it is addressing a slightly different issue. (You will see when you scroll to the bottom...most of it is ranting).

Today, I destroyed 3 things, a lvl 40 green shield (got to +3, then went back and forth between 2 and 3, then destroyed), a lvl 40 green hammer (destroyed on going to +1 from +0), and my helmet (+0 to +1).
-I'm not so upset about the shield because I was gonna sell it. I don't have a fighter. I shouted saying that I was selling it, but no takers because the +end was only 11 and they wanted higher, and someone misread and thought I said +5, so I decided to enhance it.
-The hammer made me really mad because it didn't even have an + on it yet!! I'm glad that I had extra green hammers...I got one from acad rewards, one from drop, and one I bought. I left the one I bought at +2 because it has the best stats, and I'm using it now. I am trying to enhance the greens that are not as good as the one I'm currently using, so just in case, I still have a little stat boost compared to a regular hammer from NPC.
-The helmet was also +0 going to +1.... end of story.
Sorry for that, the whole point of this was that I wanted to know any tips for enhancing...
-I have little sc and can't afford anything (yet).
-I am broke (after buying t2 elrue and lix)

Well, I wasted my last gold breaking my DIY +7 hammer which I made without sc

It should be realized that pretty much nothing can be upgraded to +9 without cash shop stones..

I think you'll be lucky to get anything to +6 without cash shop..

If you're prepared to enhance something with no perfect red eyes, it should be assumed that the weapon will eventually be destroyed.

I personally think that you'll be better off selling those stones and save up for a pre-enhanced weapon..

Good luck and don't waste anymore money on naked enhancing.. :smile:

I don't play on Bijou so I don't know the stone price..

but checking various shops in Elderine in front of the Blacksmith should give u a good idea on stone price..

For a lvl 40, you're lucky to get to +3 with out sc stones T_T It stinks I kno xD
