"Failed to create the item"?
 

So for some reason, this is not the first time that happened. On my first character, I was in the middle of making HP potions when it suddenly said "Failed to create the item". Even though I had all the mats. Then the same happened on my other character to Elrue. I tried logging out and back in but it's still happening! What to do?

Is your inventory full?

It happens when your inventory is full, and sometimes if you originally had enough items to produce, but then either sold/dropped/put in storage it'll give you that message too:3<--is dumb and has done the 2nd reason many times

Yeah, if I need to move something around while I'm producing I'll try to time it while the bar is in the middle and not at the end. It does wonky things if you don't coddle it sometimes.

Just watch out for your inventory getting full when doing skill making.

I just keep the storage window or NPC window open and put mats in my inv while they are being used up.
