Combine or reduce the following sentence using an appositive.

Maureen McTeer is not the sort of woman who wanted to play a subservient role to her husband. She has never been known as Mrs. Joe Clark.

I'd say it'd be

Maureen McTeer, never known as Mrs. Joe Clark, is not the sort of woman who wanted to play a subservient role to her husband.

Kinda clunky, but using appositives usually results in that.

I used to love English just because of work like this.

Now we're into stuff like Hamlet. Interesting and entertaining to hear of the story.. but the work on it.. nooo
