Need help finding a reference..
I know some of you are much quicker and better at this than I am..
I'm looking for a respectable source/research that says "75% of brain developments occur in the first 3 years of life".. I've found websites that says that, but it would be much more powerful if we can refer it to some research or official websites (not just some baby help website)... Anyone bored enough to help me find one? Thanks! :cutielove::cutielove: |
After a quick search I can't find any sort of actual citation to back that claim up, but I'm looking a bit harder.

In that case, the closest I could find is;
A book called "The first three years and beyond" http://www.scribd.com/doc/38307037/2...dward-F-Zigler and an article from the bangkokpost.com; http://www.bangkokpost.com/learning/...reaps-benefits I appologize if these don't meet expectations, if required, I'll search again. |
Thanks for looking Krowley~
Interesting that the Bangkok post says it's first 6 years of life instead of 3 years.. I'll run it through the boss and see if it's useful..Thanks! |

The PDF artile above contains a graph showing which skills develop at which age in a baby's brain. As for the future, next time use the Advanced search option on Google, make it look through domains that have .edu at end, and then work your way through article citations. Hope that helps. |
