Just discovered that I could put my apps in folders on the iPhone 3GS LOL

Thought that was just an iPhone 4 feature..

I recently accidentally tap something that brought my 3 most recently used app up as well.. Not sure what I did to make that happen again.. Anybody know?

Don't know how to use those features since I haven't used my iPod Touch in forever (and it might just be for iPhones anyway), but I know that in the recent update it gave the older iphones most of, or maybe all, the features iphone 4 has regarding interface.

If you wanna know more about the update, I think the Apple site might have more info. regarding actual controls... not sure tho :O

Hessah, Double-tapping the button in the bottom middle of the iPhone causes the multi-tasking bar to appear, I think thats what you're talking about. You can scroll it side to side to re-enter any app you left. It cuts down on loading time.

Do I tap the screen or the actual button? I tried tapping both but it's not working.. though I'm pretty sure that's roughly what I did to get it to come up the first one..

Do I have to be in another app for the multi tasking bar to come up? Or can I do it just from the menu screen?

edit: got it now!

You tap the button twice, quite quickly, and a bar will appear at the bottom of the screen.
