So I was doing KKP because I'm out of quests and that 1% is better than grinding, and we get all the way to robo when our only fighter DC's and never comes back. So now it's me, another cleric, about six mages, and an archer. Well, the archer bails, thinking we've lost, but the mages decided to juggle KKP and wait for us to rev them :uhoh: So I watched them be silly for a minute or two, them I yell for them to let me have aggro. (Note: I am unscrolled, uncharmed, only with my own buff and no HP stones because I don't carry them) :devil: :devil:

It took us awile... (15 minutes I think) But we did kill it, with me tanking and keeping aggro the whole time. :cool: The mages did thier jobs perfectly, keeping all the mobs off me. It just went well :D The only thing that happened was the other cleric that was helping me heal DC'ed and got kicked out, so I was on my own, heals wise, when KKP still has one heal left. But I did it.
The funniest part was, the mages were so thrilled :laugh:

That's my girl!!! I had a huge grin on my face reading this one. Mages are not built to "mank", so in the situation you were in, you had no other play but to take over. Probably a good thing the archer bailed, since he might have been able to pull agro from you. Still, when a group knows what it's doing, you can knock down some pretty nasty situations without a stud fighter. Clerics FTW!!!


Oh, and you may want to think about carrying HP stones, even if you never use them. They've saved me a few times - not sure though why a cleric really needs 285 HP stones at L96, but hey, why not.

Well, I already pretty much knew I could do it. I have a defense now resting at 1.2 K with a party, which isn't too shabby. (Thank you +9 shield and godly END gear)
And I can survive KKP's jump move easily, it was just a matter of spam healing enough when he stomps me. :p

I have to hand it to the mages though, without thier expert help with the mobs, I would have been tost. Mara and Marlone are no picnic x.x

I might start carry HP stones, despite the extra expense... I've been doing the PVP kq for the 5% exp you get at the end. Mages always get me with fear. that's the only reason I die. Well...that and I don't like PVP...I don't actually fight, I just run in circles xD
But the mages are really starting to bother me with that xD

I'm finding partying with mages can be your biggest friend or your worst nightmare. Still, when they are skilled and knowledgable, it makes for a great experience. On the stones, the expense is really only a startup expense, I usually only use 2 or 3 hp stones a week, so after I am full, the cost isn't much to worry about. :laugh:

wow gratz! I couldn't tank it without scrolls..

I always have full HP stones.. but I think that's just a habit, I feel insecure if my stones are not stocked up LOLOL "OMG it's down to 230 stones, Healer Poring here I come!!"

SC hp pots doesn't work in PVP KQ.. I think..

Last time i was in a party of 5 in KKP, and I had a low level fail tank, who couldn't tank and kept dying, I said I'll tank and he help MC, but he's not listening and kept kicking/mocking KKP (for once I'm complaining about a tank mocking too much), which made it impossible for me to hold aggro, since when he dies, KKP goes to the mage/archers..

So damn annoying.. we almost won that one, but failed in the end coz I lost all my hearts...

:o I had one (a SC pot) from remi's rare finds and it worked in a PVP kq :P

Ah, KKP one of the most frustrating KQs when I was a tanker...

Nope xD I 1v1 against a fighter, and it saved me from his evil stun move D; Then he killed me anyway xD lmao xD


I've never seen a KKP fail...actually... (well, except that one when there was only five of us, and we decided we couldn't kill KKP, so we killed PHINOFLY instead xDDDDDDDDDD LMAO XD)

I miss my mage ... coud tank anything within 10 lvls. :(
