I got owned.

I have been ranting to my parents for years about how they need to modernize and get technologically savvy. 'Cause, let's face it, I won't always be around to teach them how to use their new phone or how to open the internet.

But, today, I they made me realize just how much I failed for ranting at them.

How, you ask? A freaking rice cooker.

Long story shot. I realized that I don't know how to use a rice cooker. I feel like a hypocrite for telling them to modernize now. Curse you rice cookers.

Not really sure and I'm too lazy to go to the kitchen to check. But, I know how to use it now!

Just push down the little magical button and the rice is ready when it goes back up. It's just like a toaster! c:

I think I have one like that. It's a pretty old version. All the rice cookers I see now have all sorts of buttons and you can make more than just rice with them...

lol. Reminds me of a story.

At school, some Hong Kong friends of mine invited me to eat hot pot in their room. I was really confused because with hotpot, you need a pretty big pot and usually open fire. I got to their room and they had started to use a rice cooker. xD

That's why you didn't know how to use it! Coz it's too old fashion, I bet you if we gave u a cassette you wouldn't know what to do with it... kekekeke

But I dont think you'll never get to a day where you don't have to teach your parents how to use technologies..

And one day it might backfire.. you'll need your kids to help you out with the new iPhone 63 xD

I doubt when I'm that old I'll be using an iPhone. Maybe a jitter bug. xD
And I do know how to use a cassette/cassette player. My mommy taught me when I was like five. c:

Lol more like iphone 2000 and this crap happens all the time my modernazation atempts backfire or are a pain ESPECIALY with my grandmother she didnt know how to make a page a favorite, delete her email and *drumroll* restart her computer... -_- i think this counts as an uber fail XD

It's extra embarrassing when some parts of my computer stopped working and I tried closing and restarting the program and it doesn't work.. so I call the IT support people, and they ask "Have you restarted the computer?" DUH! That question just made me feel really dumb...
