A troll i've known for a while who i pissed off is threatening to send buddies to hack my computer. is there anything i should do other than the basic firewall?

tell him to go fuck himself. 99% of these shit heads don't know anybody that can hack your computer and .9% may know people but those people aren't going to bother to do it.

i know that he's probably bullshitting, but i still dont want to take any chances. Will mcafee firewalls keep them out well? Cos that's pretty much all i've got.

also, would it be best to put my computer on firewall lockdown when im not using it?

I doubt they will actually hack your computer, but just incase, put firewall settings to lockdown and maximum protection the most you can.

Lockdown takes away the internet completely though. so dunno if that would work...

i've been told by others that my firewall and antivirus should take care of it pretty well though. im gonna just cross my fingers and hope it all blows over soon.

Block him in msn. Turn on antiviruses into maximum protection. Firewalls too.

unless you used a program that uses a p2p connection with him or something or you were posting somewhere or doing something that could link your ip to you so he knows its yours and he has access to the ip addresses there you should be fine.

The nice thing is I know someone I met via Fiesta that
can hack me any game account, site login, and email passwords I want :) It's handy.
