A simple physics question
A student of mine raised this question to me. It made me wonder how many physics students could answer it. o.o
Show that in a projectile motion, the time it takes an object to reach the apex is the same as that from the apex to ground, ignoring air resistance. |

I remember answering that question two years back. Something to do with the parabolic path and stuff, but I don't remember it really.

Hey, don't get too down on teachers - we are actually pretty cool. My students (I teach grad level Engineering) love to use computers to solve problems... challenge is I can come up with challenges that stump the analysis programs they have. Physics is awesome when you look at it from a different perspective. Google 'speed of gravity' and see what I mean.
