I Don't Get

How this guy can sing English perfectly but when he talks it's so fobby.
His videos are amazing btw. :D

Singing and talking is different though. When you sing.. you can practice the same thing over and over to perfect pronunciation but you can't really "practise" talking the same way you practise singing cos talking involves.. hmm.. I don't know how to explain xD

Let's just say it's easier to learn the lyrics of a song in a foreign language than learning the foreign language itself xD

I wish he just spoke the intro in his own language keke..

Singing clearly is easier than speaking clearly. The mouth is more open and in a way relaxed. It allows space for vowels to be pronounced correctly.. blah blah blah

Oh. How my choir teacher brainwashed me.

I'll look around for it, but I seem to recall a paper showing that singing uses a different part of the brain than actual speech.

it's this. they did a study where they used this machine that can turn off/disable specific parts of the brain. they used it on the part that uses speech and the guy was able to sing but he couldn't talk.

Just a couple of studies done. I think the second one is the one you're referring to.

is rapping considered singing?

Hessah 04-26-2010 11:22 PM

I don't know the original song.. but it seems to me he's just "imitating" as well..

We can pretend and sing and british/american accent, but will not talk like one...
