Feeling a little bit evil..
 

A telesales with a heavy accent just phoned saying:

"Hello, can I speek to de owner of de business?"

I said "sure, one moment please" and put them on hold.. (Another call was coming in)

after half a min, I picked up the call, they're still there so I hung up without a word... :devil:

I'm not sure how the phone systems work over there, but if someone calls in on your toll-free line, that charges your company with the bill. I know, you're not footing the bill, but, eh. I do that with telemarketers at home ALL the time, though. Just rack up and waste their time.

My company line is just a normal land line, so the caller pays.. (don't think telesales will call toll-free lines coz they'll just have machines speaking back to them)

But yeah, with calls to my home/personal line I would just hang up without hesitating.. but coz it's a company line I need to sound more polite.. but I couldn't be bothered so I secretly hung up on them after they've waited xD

Being evil is fun.

Just that people around me are so kind it makes me feel bad xD

I'll tell you what, just move to the New York City area, and being around kind people will be a thing of the past for you. :laugh:
