So here's the story. I was partying with someone in land of trials. We had been farming the boss for a couple hours, and when we leave to go back to uruga, he asks to see my hammer. (Lv 60 +6) and I'm thinking, ok whatever, then he asks me how much he can buy it for. Wth??? We have been partying for hours, you have SEEN me actively using it! :urweird:
I told him it wasn't for sale, and he walked off.

Do people with +9's get this alot???? Cuz it was annoying and weird when I had it happen once.

Yeah I've heard those a few times... its like DUDE I'm USING THIS!

The one that I recall recently was someone randomly asking to buy my boots.. it was so WTH to me that I posted on here..

and FFers told me they were kidding coz they don't even know the stats xD

Yeah it's quite common. There's a few not so bright crayons in that box.

It hasn't happened to me lately - it did happen when I was in the early 40's and was fighting wearbears and ratmen, some guy came up and started begging for my +9 hammer, kept offering 1G for it. He kept at it for a week until I leveled out of the area and gave it to a guildy. What a freaking jerk!!!
Like he couldn't see that I was using it - he never asked unless I was fighting something.....

LOL that guys must be thinking "hey that hammer really works! I want it!!"

that's happened with my lvl 40 1h sword, when I actually had a +9 weapon. :hulksmash:

Helion, he did it for a week!? God, I bet that got annoying. At least mine just gave up. (hey, it was only +6 anyway :p)

You have no idea - I hated that map, too many stupid quests (Vegan Goblin, WTF???). That hammer had maxed str, spr, and end with +5% crit, and with the +9, it would let me keep up with most fighters in killing speed. I've missed that weapon until I got the 90BK that I currently use. :laugh: Anyway, I was able to finally get away from him, plus a few of my more reckless guildies started PKing him whenever they would see him. I'm not one for PKing, but I can't say I didn't laugh quite a bit on that one. :devil:
