Website font..
If I was doing a website, and I used a font that's not common (one that I had downloaded specially, not a default one)..
Will my font not show up when people view my website? |
If you're using just regular HTML, it won't show up unless the other person has the font. If you're using some sort of Java or Flash app, then they will see whatever font you put into it.
Edit: It's kind of a bad design idea to base a design on a font that isn't very popular, BTW. Using CSS you can use font classes, which is a better idea all-way 'round. http://www.w3schools.com/css/css_font.asp |
Yeah well our website is overall in a horrible format (built in FrontPage, enough said LOL)
But yeah we've got a default font for work now.. and I thought to keep things in line it would be ideal to use this font.. but that's probably beyond my knowledge... so I'll just leave it.. Thanks for clarifying Hraes~ |
FrontPage...? The horror!

What font is it? Are you wanting to use it for all of the copy or just for page titles/headlines? You could always use a small .png if you just want page titles to tie it in to a logo or something.

Yeah someone is meant to redesign our webpage.. but... nothing's happened yet so I'll just have to use my "expertise" LOL
Yeah if the font worked, I was gonna use it for the entire webpage.. but now I've just added the banner on with a png... |
