i just got it today. the ATB system maybe a little different but its not a big change. i dont think theres a lvling system (im still at the beginning so i dont know), but i think you have to lvl your weapons and choose what role you want to take

Heard the first couple hours is a tad boring. The graphics/cutscenes are really nice though. This is definitely pushing me toward buying a console later on...

I've never been that much of a fan of real time battle systems. I liked the old FF games. 10 was the last one that had a turn based system, which I like much better.

agreed. I liked X battle system. X-2 was okay. I hated XII.
