Sounds like someone mentally ill wrote it and it was performed by a couple of people in a garage. Is it because he seems fixiated on having a beard?

Because the whole beard thing was more or less an in-joke between a former member of this board and myself. I do have a beard, but...eh.

It was based on the beard. And if you know the story behind the song, then you'd feel differently. Or maybe it's just outside of your tastes, and you're being judgemental, though to be fair, i do that at times as well.
