W7 help...
so my mom says theres a time control feature on windows 7 and shes going to use that to limit my computer time... is this true? and if so is there a way to bypass it?
(my mom took my laptop away so i cant really check it out on my own right now) |
ahahaha...its sounds like we're having the same problem. My mom stashed my keyboard and mouse so I wouldn't use my computer; I've bought about 6 keyboards and 9 mouses but all have been taken from me(not to mention the ones shes broken) xD, she's old school but its pretty effective...
I suggest you do a bit of research, I'm sure theres some way to bypass it or trick the timer so as to give you unlimited time EDIT: there is definitely a time limit control available in windows 7, It measures days and hours...it doesn't allow you to use it at certain times, rather than just timing how long you use it. For example: you mom might only allow access to the computer on weekends and even if you didn't use the computer on the weekend, you'll still have to wait for the next weekend to be able to use the laptop. You can always try to disable the feature by logging in as the administrator, but you need to know the password for an administrator account. |
Yes, there is a parental control timer. I will not tell you how to bypass it though.
