I finished this book I got yesterday, called Burned and like..

Thats depressing shit. I'm used to reading happy things. Well.. other than like King books @_@

Just don't read the novel The Road, then. Ye gods, the movie was bad enough. I couldn't bring myself to read the novel but I've heard its even worse.
