The charity they're donating to is Yele Haiti, the one that's getting a lot of flak for keeping shady books. For some reason, that amuses me to no end.

Eh, a lot of people made free cash by ripping people off for "charity" and such... Eg. Hurricane Katrina, 2005.

I think quite a bit went missing in the 9/11 charities, too. I'd stick to the big players, at least for large-scale operations like this. The Red Cross is a great one. They're a class act. Helped me out quite a bit during Hurricane Rita when I was displaced for a couple of months.

Donate to help those in Haiti and we will send 1% of what we make to them~!

That can actually be a lot in some cases.

It's good to hear that someone directly benefited from them..

Red Cross (that's the same as salvation army is that right?) was being hammered about too much of it went into Admin fees or something like that But having some of it go to admin fee and most helping people is better than donating to some random charity...

No, they aren't the same thing at all. The Salvation Army is an evangelical Christian organization. Their outreach usually comes with a healthy dose of "come to Jesus". The Red Cross is generally broadly humanitarian in nature.

Oh woops xD I guess I got mixed up coz they're both red HAHA
