Threat detected.. should I be worried?
http://img268.imageshack.us/img268/9903/virusgs.jpg
I was on a tourist accommodation site and I accidentally clicked something, and then a box popped up on my toolbar that says "Updating...". It looked dodgy so I tried to end the task, but before I could, the warning popped up saying the file was moved. I looked up regsvr32.exe... but I don't really understand it. One site says it might be dangerous but another says it's not? @_@" [Edit: weird thing was, there was no ads on the accommodation site. =/] And for some reason I can't see the folder names of my folders... I dunno if that was cos of the "threat" though? But I can still access them fine... http://img689.imageshack.us/img689/7673/virus2k.jpg |

The infected file was automatically quarantined. There's nothing else for you to do.

just dont let your comp turn out like mine!
(a few days ago when i turned on my pc it kept restarting, i tried to go imto safe mode and it couldnt access it, and i cant even access my user screen Dx so now i have to take my harddrives out and put them in another computer and then copy the files onto my portable hd...) |
You can always try restoring to previous backups...
