Hope you enjoyed the internet while it lasted...

So wait.. does that mean I finally need to learn how to.. proxy.. or whatever.. would that even help? HAHA.

Hraesvelg 12-15-2009 10:55 AM

It really depends on how the filter is put into place. There is ALWAYS a way around things. It just depends on the difficulty.

Blaaaaaaaah 12-15-2009 10:58 AM

As long as they don't censor FF... there'll always be a solution x)

Hessah 12-15-2009 11:05 AM

Eh.. I dont understand wat the government is doing..

It was just today that I read they're considering bringing in the rating "R" for games so adults can play it too...

and now they bring back this censorship crap...

Dont we have an election soon? xD

I don't think I've heard of a single Australian that likes the idea.. except for our politicians...

And I guess those that agrees doesnt use the internet...

it really bothers me how they keep saying "protect" and "safety". they act like someone trying ot attack people through the internet <_<. honestly if someone's looking for those sites in teh first place they'll find them. if someone finds them by accident there's the back button, "x", file > exit, alt + F4, ctrl + alt + del > end task or end process. they're just gonna cause a lot of trouble that's not needed.

I really hope it's just a media stunt..

Which is entirely possible I suppose, considering the FB fuss that they made..

Or in a few months we will lose all contact as we know it with Australia

Hessah 12-15-2009 09:35 PM

They're not exactly disconnecting us from the world xD
