Anyone can explain this table to me?
 

Writing a persuasive speech. And I do not get this table. http://organdonor.gov/ It says there were 16k transplants yet only 8k donors.. Doesn't make sense to me.

Maybe cos the donor can donate more than one thing?

It's amazing the amount of things one body can generate for transplant.

I'm just wildly guessing though hahaha

I wonder if the stats include dead people? Cos that'll explain the low number of donors-high number of transplants ratio.

I'm sure they'd include dead people. Actually, i think most of them are dead. There are only so many things a living person can donate.
