Mage Question
 

hi everyone Sanastra here.
I have a question for you all.

am currently 9x and for pvp (against fighters) i still use my lvl 55 +9 sunset.

lol yes i get that rather often... but the facts are that i do come out on top.
i love fireball as much as the next mage. but its animation time to me is not worth the damage it does(unless it crits.. thats wen i love it).I am a mage.. and a mage is ment to have low hp and the highest damage ever, yet fiesta is a game with 9khp mages etc, its honestly is getting kinda stupid, so i decided even if i do have high hp, i dont mind sacrafising defence for power (pvp... in pve i find max end gears like everyone else lol)... besides apprently level 105 magic blast outdamages fireball anyway... but i will see how that turns out if i eva reach there(truely sick of grind)

Anyways, one of my guildies recently showed me an Item that i honestly never saw before.. A ring that had like +40int. which isnt important but what was important is that it says something rather similar to my SUN set.. Apprently if i get the ring and whateva the other part of the jewelry set is.. i can raise the damage of my magic blast (woooooo more NUKAGE!)

My question is this... does this golden ring set, once i have 2 pieces raise the attack by 25% like the SUN set does? and if so... is it possible that i can stack the jewel set and the SUN set 2gether to get a constant 50% xtra damage magic blast?

Using a SUN set i already get accused of being on charm until they actually hit me and then say 'o wait nevermind'.. now if i have both sets, would i not basically be doing charm damage 50 on the mages fastest cooldown most powerful spell?

If any of you have the means to try this please do and let me know the answer.

Never heard of that. I'll look into it.

I personally stick with my +xxx ~ xxx m.dmg rings (ruby, emerald, kart miner, etc.) for the best overall magic damage and magic defense.

btw the new drop (spirit, kart miner, pledge and other ring or earring) addin M dmg and M def rite...?

On subject of the mage rings. i agree with things like kart miner rings/ring of paradise, i use such things now. the xtra magic defense does make sense.. however, when i hit someone without them.. and put them on and hit someone again.. the difference is somewere between 20 & 40 damage.. which isnt much at all. If the 'Strike gold ring& necklace' (i think thats what they called) raises your magic damage by 25% like the SUN set.. then we are talking difference in damage of about 200-400, which will look alot like charm. Furthermore mages have naturally higher defence than most anyway. the rings are mainly for damage

Lol, welcome! I'm sort of new too.

The job change isn't too hard if you strap on some T3 scrolls and have T2/3 HP potions at your disposal.
