Aussie accents

Deputy PM's accent baffles American schoolkids

I thought it was a bit funny, then I listened to her. Depending on the age of the kids, I can understand the confusion.

It's not the Aussie accent, it's her LOL

An Indian with a Scots accent. You don't see that very often.

Mr Spiker? :err:

I think he was trying to copy the Aussie accent when saying "Mr Speaker". Doesn't sound legit at all LOL Unless he wasn't doing that.

Hessah 10-11-2009 04:54 AM

Yeah I know but instead of sounding like how we say Mr Speaker, it sounds more like Mr Spiker to me xD

Ralath 10-11-2009 04:54 AM

omg. I had to ragequit that last video because he said Mr. Speaker too many times.

Have you heard the Aussie parliamentary addresses? Just looking for a good clip of the Deputy PM I watched quite a few. They do say "Mr. Speaker" a ton of times, LOL.
