It's probably the polite way of saying "Hmm, I don't like this. I won't post and say it sucks because that would be rude." I haven't personally posted in those because musical taste is subjective, and while I don't care for it, there's no need to feed a potential persecution complex that I'm always attacking anything you post.

it's just somewhat disheartening to see other random music video threads spread up and get at least 18 comments each. :|

Does it really matter?

Eh, this site tends to skew toward anime music, Korean and Japanese pop, and other Asian trends. I can see whey The Pixies wouldn't generate much interest.

You remember the "What's your favorite music" thread, right? There was so much stuff there I couldn't stand. It drove home the point that on a musical level, I wasn't in step with the average user of this site.

Edit: On a not-really-related musical note: I'm taking my kid to see Journey tonight.
