I'm a little reluctant to call this "propaganda" but it's a rather fascinating film from 1945.

Edit: I think it's telling they didn't show the inside to the middle house.

Don't you just love old videos? It makes you want to pat them on the head.

Yeah, it really makes you wonder if people actually thought they would survive the blast. Sure, the outside of the house was charred, but the heat would have flash-fried them in their seats. Of course, if the initial blast didn't boil you alive, you still had to deal with the radiation.

...Note to self: keep a messy house to prevent slowly turning into a Centaur or Ghoul from fallout 3.
