Clannad

I just started watching it... it's great so far. :D

anyone else ever seen it?

Watching? They were a great band. "I Will Find You" from The Last of the Mohicans is a beautiful song.

Watched about 5 episodes and got extremely bored.

Everyone says it's a great/sad story though (especially after story). I personally found it way too slow. >:

^Pretty much how I felt.

I liked parts of it, but other times I just didn't feel like sitting through a episode. Some of the middle/later episodes of After Story made me want to watch it again, but I decided I was fine just reading summaries from anime blogs.

Hm... seemed rather interesting and stuff to me, actually. it sorta pulled me in. Kinda like ouran did. Not so sad so far. Just sweet and stuff.

(i do know it gets sad later on, though)

Ah, well. To each its own.

I tend to stay clear from that type of anime.

Ivramire 08-12-2009 06:35 AM

Gave up @ ep. 6.

Word of caution: do not watch this with a male friend. You'll be laughing at all the parts that they try to tear you up and /headdesking at other times. I liked the main male character and the snarkish humor but that was pretty much it.

Felt like the series was pandering to a different demographic/ was a thinly-veiled anvilistic story about moe-blobs and family-values. Might give it another chance later.

Hraesvelg 08-12-2009 06:37 AM

Moe-blob, LOL. There's that TV Tropes time sneaking out.

Ivramire 08-12-2009 06:43 AM

Hell yes Tv Tropes.

Though I've seen that word in-use from people I'm pretty sure have never been to that site...there's a dearth of good things to watch...
