quest question
 

I am working on some new quests and have the 4 defense equipment quests to do. A few questions related to them 1. Can I get the needed items as drops from monsters and if yes where or do I have to buy the items. 2. are these quests even worth doing? Would love any imput and please don't hestitate to tell me thses quests are totally pointless to do

I believe the items that you need for the quest are white named, so mobs wouldn't drop them... (mobs only drop greens)

It's one of those quest where it's a trade off between money and EXP... I guess it depends on wat you need more?

I think its the beginner armor you have to get. Just buy them at the Smith in Roumen. They are all relatively cheap and give a decent amount of xp for the work you put in.

those quests come up at a couple of levels. There are $$ rewards as well as xp and fame so the costs to buy the stuff are offset.

worth the $$ if u can afford it.

I didn't do the one that needed lvl 30 equipment and I was fine xD The one before it is worth doing tho :P

Some solutions and A plot?
 

If you have the space; and hardly anyone does; you could have kept your classes old gear to turn in.

Alternatly if you have lots of time to kill or were thinking of starting another class. You could use their armor after they level past it. Or create a charater just to do the newbie quests for the armors needed. That would be a big time sink, but in the end isn't that what playing the game is? (^_^)

Or another option with the academies now, ask your lower level accademy members to sell or trade you their older gear. Offer them something they can use or cash somewhere between what an NPC would buy it for and what it costs to buy from the blacksmith.

Sometimes I think quests like this are part of a plot to get more people to buy extra storage. (^_^)
