So we had a deal on a ending school present XD

We will buy a DSi since there's nothing we can buy x-x;

So is the DSi ganna get games or i can play old DS games on it?

I'm sure you can play other DS games on your DSi

You just can't play GBA games on it... (where DS and DS lite can, DSi cant)

DSi is just an updated version with a camera so you can take pictures. But you can no longer play GBA as hessah said. But any DS game will work for it. Its the same thing, just with a camera.
