Against Mages who use Lifetap
 

I've been finding it really annoying when a mage use life tap...

esp in KQ! some mage just constantly use it! anyone else find it annoying? or is it just me being arrogant? help me open up my mind if i am....

but i spam that skill too when i'm in KQ....

Life tapping is a cheap way to get SP replenished. Your heals converts SP to HP with a ratio of something like 1:10, and Life Tap converts HP to SP in a ratio of about 4:3. It's like you're healing SP. So.. it will cost less altogether. I don't use Life Tap unless I can give something in return.

If the mage Life Taps stupidly and dies because of it, stop healing them ~.~ I never use Life Tap when I know the clerics are busy healing someone else namely the tanks.

You're 4x now, if your profile is up-to-date.

If you go Heal/Rejuvenate/Restore in that order you should be able to back-to-back spam heal decently well.

Additional cooldown in Heal helps.

yeah i only just got to lvl 40.. wat's Rejuvenate?!

yeah the way i see life tap.. is a mage using my SP to to heal their SP...

why cant they just stone their SP? coz uz clerics hv to stone our SP...?

I haven't been unlucky enough to bump into Mages that uses Life Tap constantly, actually... you seem to be extremely unlucky with that, lol. I will find it annoying if they keep using life tap when I'm busy, I guess. D: Never really been in that situation so I can't say...

oh lvl 41.. hvnt got to that yet.. and heck! look at that SP consumption!!!

i just dont understand why they use it.. coz its like 2/3 of their HP for not that much SP... it just felt like i'm wasting my SP for a not really worth it skill (as far as i can see)... and i cant control it

well maybe i can.. i've decided to heal that mage last coz she voluntarily took her own life out...

The conversion rate means effectively the amount by which their SP is healed is 6-7 times the SP you used to heal them... Whether this is a good thing or a bad thing depends on the situation =/
