Very, very, very bad lagging
 

Hi people,

I have a mage character lvl 31 and I've been playing with it perfectly for about a month or so. The problem is that since yesterday, something happened and my game started lagging badly. And I mean badly. I have to wait about 30 ss or so to get to a vendor, open the resting house or getting the message to teleport to other areas when one crosses a gate.

With the monsters is terrible too. I attack and nothing happens; like 20 ss later I see the monster kicking my rear and every time I try to defend myself, I get 1 or 2 attacks before they kill me. It kind of freezes up for me (but obviously not for them, the filthy creatures...). Worth mentioning that I kill these monsters with my eyes closed on regular basis.

Can anyone help me with this? I saw an older thread with the same question but not with a useful answer. :arg:

Might just need to restart your computer... virus check, close all unnecessary programs, etc. Or it could've just been the server was full, or a problem with your internet, some things you couldn't control. Also decreasing background distance might help as well ^^

I reinstalled the game and the problem was solved for an hour or 2, until it started again. I checked the server and it's at medium, so I'm doing a thorough scan for any pesky virus now. Could it be perhaps that it's failing because of the new tower added? Because the problem began on the 29th at night and perhaps they were including it then.

it could be the new patch maybe the tower since new is still in improvement so it can be that you have a virus. It happens to me all the time
