photobucket over imageshack?
 

i noticed a lot of people use photobucket and prefer it to imageshack. any reason why?

from what i've seen i'd hate to use photobucket cause i upload a lot of large pics and it shrinks them >_<. imageshack doesn't shrink things and there's no size or bandwidth limit.

so what's photobucket got that imageshack doesn't D:?

I use to prefer imageshack.. until they start randomly making my pictures disappear...

now i prefer photobucket, coz I can make folders to sort my pictures.. and its quite easy to get the direct links (i think imageshack were trying to hide the direct links for some reason)

Photobucket rarely shrink my pictures, I think it might be a setting that you've picked... or I've never uploaded any picture that's sooooooo big that it shrinks it...

You should be able to change settings... change to umm.. I think "don't resize unless it's over 1MB" sort of thing. But I think there's a max size anyway and after a max size, it will shrink. Not sure.

Anyway. I prefer image shack. I used to use photobucket, the page lags a lot for me. It lags a lot because my photobucket album has a lot of pics, and I cbb to make a new account. The uploading thing in photobucket is also kind of buggy for me and gets annoying. So I use image shack. I like image shack now because you can easily multi-upload. Except I can't upload too many pictures at once, cos it often stuffs up/freeze half way through and I gotta do it again =0="

Imageshack for 1 time use pictures.

Photobucket for stuff I actually kind of want to keep.

I find myself using Imageshack a lot more since they put the Direct Link at the top of the page now.

is imageshack the one with the frog?

Yeah but the uploader thing gets buggy for me a lot more than imageshack.

My biggest problem with photobucket is that the page lag because I have too many pictures in my account </3 I don't even know how that works when I'm not viewing other pictures but it does ;_;

Yeah there's a lot more lag on photobucket...
